CLASS DESCRIPTION


slow Flow Yoga

Flowing class linking movement to the breath and suitable for those with an understanding of the fundamentals of Yoga and/or with a regular practice. This class is not suitable for anyone with shoulder and wrist issues as the practice includes planks and weight bearing through the hands. Class concludes with a lengthy Savasana and may include pranayama, sound and meditation.

chair Yoga

A slow moving stretch and strengthening session which includes guided relaxation. The class involves practising with the use of a chair in both seated and standing positions. Suitable for beginners and seniors. 

Pilates

Mat Pilates suitable for those with a regular practice at a moderate level. Small apparatus including the 15cm Pilates ball, Theraband, blocks and hand weights may be incorporated.

MOVEMENT & STRENGTH

A breath and core focussed class involving functional movement and building strength. The first half of the class includes exercises whilst seated on a chair, followed by 20 minutes moving/exercising and balancing whilst standing (with the use of the chair if required).  Towards the end of the session we will return to seated for stretching and relaxation. The class may incorporate the use of resistance bands, 15cm Pilates ball and hand weights. Suitable for beginners and Seniors.
